UTM Link Builder — Campaign URLs for Creators

Create a labeled link for a newsletter, creator partnership or launch post. Enter a destination and a consistent set of campaign labels; the builder handles encoding while keeping unrelated query parameters and the page anchor.

Calculations run in your browser. No account or API key is needed.

Your result

https://example.com/launch?view=demo&utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=autumn_launch&utm_content=hero_button#details

How to use this tool

  1. Enter a full HTTP or HTTPS destination URL.

  2. Fill in source, medium and campaign; optionally add term or content.

  3. Generate the link, copy it and test the destination before sharing.

Start with a naming convention

Decide whether your team uses lowercase names, underscores or another shared format. For example, newsletter / email / autumn_launch makes one campaign easy to recognize. Use content labels such as hero_button and footer_link to distinguish placements.

Understand what the link does

UTM labels describe incoming traffic to an analytics system that supports them. This builder does not install analytics, shorten the URL or verify attribution. Existing source, medium and campaign tags are replaced; optional term and content tags are removed when their inputs are blank.

Common questions

Can the destination already have a query string?

Yes. A URL containing ?product=canvas keeps that parameter, and a #details anchor stays at the end.

Should I include customer details in tags?

Use campaign identifiers, not private information. URL parameters are visible to recipients and can appear in browser history and server logs.
